We’re excited to announce the first annual Louisville Bicycle Club Pat Wentzel Fundraiser & Ride, honoring the memory of Pat Wentzel, sister of club member Susan Wentzel.

This special event supports the Down Syndrome of Louisville’s Bike Camp, an incredible program that helps individuals with Down syndrome build confidence and learn to ride a bike.

The fundraiser will launch each year on March 21st, World Down Syndrome Day, and run through the second Saturday in May. We will wrap up the campaign with a check presentation at 9:50 a.m., followed by the ride start at 10:00 a.m.

Important Details:

Please park in the back of the lot as Down Syndrome of Louisville will be open and holding classes on Saturday.

Ride Type: 3C — Moderate rollers and a few climbs; ride will be swept at 14 mph. Not recommended for beginners.
